The snow in the valley and the cold of winter have passed, the first flowers are appearing in nature and the birds are chirping their songs again – it is spring in the mountains. This time when nature puts on its colorful dress and the temperatures invite you to exercise in the fresh air – this is the perfect time for us to “bloom” again as humans and start the new (camping) year.
This time is perfect for a camping holiday at the Seecamp in Zell am See in the world-famous Salzburger Land.
In spring you can still practice many winter sports as well as summer sports. In the mountains you can still go skiing or cross-country skiing on high-altitude trails; in the valley you can go on walks, hikes or bike tours.
Spring is also the perfect time to go on excursions and visit sights and attractions. From the campsite, take a day trip to the famous Mozart city of Salzburg. Visit the large fortress above the city, the Getreidegasse, Mozart’s birthplace, Hellbrunn or Mirabell Palace, the Tiergarten or one of the countless other sights. Or go to the Eisriesenwelt – the largest ice cave in the world! You can also visit various palaces and castles in the area. You can also hike through gorges and caves. Museums and exhibitions show you the past and the lives of the people in the region.
You see, spring is one of the perfect seasons to start the “camping year”. Enjoy what we have to offer at the Seecamp campsite and experience Zell am See and the region as you awaken from hibernation.
